As I stated in the video, I scored pretty high in pessimism. How pessimistic am I? See for yourself:*
PmB: 5 (Quite Pessimistic)
PvB : 4 (Average)
PvB + PmB = 9 (Moderately hopeless. According to Seligman, this is the most important score. 😬)
Total B = 17 (Anything above 14 cries out for change according to Seligman.)
Overall Score = -2 (Very Pessimistic!)
The good news here is that I can improve these scores. I’ve already proven to myself that I can change from pessimism to optimism, which is how I lost weight and have kept it off. This made a major positive difference in my life. It’s just that I need to apply this optimism to all areas of my life. I’ve been using the ABCDE method since finishing this book, and I’ve already seen major shifts in my outlook. Give it a try, using the free printable below:

All of the above books have helped me, although, as you can certainly see from my scores above, I have plenty of work left to do!
